Capricious Journeys

The goats really enjoyed working the southwest greenbelts of Eldorado last week.
And they especially enjoyed their journeys, trimming alongside bike path and road.

They are getting pretty good at traveling the roads: goats, dogs, horses all!

We cross the road to the Greenbelt.

At the end of the day the goats hit the road again...

They are full and ready to go home, drink some water and settle in for one last evening
at the Casa del Oro camp.

The next day we meet the new fledgling Ravens across the road and just up the greenbelt from the camp. They are curious and not yet fluent in  flight...

One of the adults lands here to feed a chick a lizard or mouse that it has found, but takes the action elsewhere as the goatherd passes momentarily by.

Further along in the journey the herd passes underneath a vigilant Raven who watches us carefully, scolding a little, while she sits in her nest high up on a electric pole.

Destination Camp-Azul!
The goats wait at the new GoatCamp while their pen is erected for them.
